Djarum Filtered Cigar Sale at TrueTobacco.com

At TrueTobacco.com we are proud to announce a one week blow out sale of Djarum Little Cigars online. These little cigars from indonesia were originally called Kretec, due to the sound they make when smoked.

They are extremely sweet and strong flavored. We carry other Clove cigars as well, which are much cheaper (these are generally several dollars per pack, we have some that are $1-2/pack).

See our latest press release below, as well as a video review of a Djarum:

Djarum Little Cigars are machine-manufactured kreteks from Indonesia. The brand was founded by businessman Oei Wie Gwan in 1951 after he purchased a then-failing cigarette company. Today, the company offers domestic and international brands. There are 13 unique Djarum blends offered internationally. TrueTobacco.com offers all of the current Djarum Little Cigar’s international blends with the exception of the Djarum Supersmooth, Djarum Black Menthol Supersmooth, Djarum Black Supersmooth, Djarum Black Bliss, and Djarum Spice Islands. “Djarum is a solid brand of clove tobacco products,” Gordon says. “We try to keep most Djarum blends stocked because we know our customers will be looking for them.”
Introduced to the U.S. in 1983, Djarum Special includes the brand’s exclusive blend of tobacco, clove, and undisclosed “exotic special spices.” According to the company, it is the first brown paper kretek to be sold internationally. Djarum Black was introduced to American markets in 1993 and is a black paper kretek. The company cites it as their most popular brand, surpassing its “predecessor” the Djarum Special. The Djarum Splash was introduced to the U.S. in 1993. They are described as having a “fresh, sweet aroma” and were “created for those who enjoy sporty and active lifestyles.” Djarum Bali Hai, introduced in 1997, has a lighter fruit flavor than the Splash and is made for “nature and adventure lovers.”
Gordon recommends smoking Djarum Little Cigars on “special-but-not-too-special occasions.” He notes that “Djarum Little Cigars are not like other cheap little cigars. They have a great history and great flavor. They should be relished with friends after everyday victories. They’re not for celebrating births or that big promotion, but let’s say you’ve found your way back after being lost for an hour, in the cold, in a new location. Djarums are great for these moments.”
Djarum Little Cigars are filtered and have a distinctive blend of clove and tobacco with a variety of added flavors. They are on sale at TrueTobacco.com starting on February 21. TrueTobacco.com is an online retailer specializing in the sale of cigars. They offer eight of Djarum’s international blends in 10 packs of 12 cigars.
